I recently stayed at Ha Lan Homestay for a week during my trip to Ninh Binh. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and renting motorbikes. The spacious and modern rooms with heating option were perfect for the chilly weather. The hotel also arranged a bus for our return to Hanoi. The breakfasts were big and delicious, and the location was ideal, being close to attractions but away from the tourist crowd. The overall experience was among my top favorites in Vietnam.

As avid trekkers and a group of friends, we absolutely loved our stay at Ha Lan Homestay. the rooms were top-notch, with comfortable beds, spacious interiors, and fantastic showers. the large windows allowed plenty of natural light to flood in, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. the homestay's location provided easy access to various local sights, and Yen, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. She even took us to a local wedding and organized a day trip to explore the area. Yen's pleasant and enthusiastic attitude truly made our stay exceptional. the food offered at the on-site restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced, and the included breakfast was satisfying. Ha Lan Homestay exceeded our expectations and made our time in this beautiful region absolutely enjoyable.

We had an incredible stay at the homestay! Yen, the host, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. She greeted us warmly, even though we arrived at 4 am, and provided us with a clean and comfortable room. Yen was incredibly helpful, giving us a map and recommending the best places to visit, ensuring we didn't get ripped off. The location was excellent, and we easily rented bikes from the hotel to explore the area. The rooms were spacious and new, with the added advantage of heating for the cold weather. The breakfasts were big and delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better host and overall experience in Ninh Binh.

For us it was ideal.

We had an amazing time at our recent homestay in Ninh Binh! The location was perfect for us, a little outside of the busy areas but still with a beautiful view. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us great advice and making communication easy with Google Translate. We loved being able to choose our own breakfast from a menu, and the fact that the homestay had its own restaurant for lunch and dinner was a bonus. it was a lovely stay!

To be honest, there wasn't much that we didn't like about our time at the homestay. If we had to mention something, perhaps the towels could have been a bit bigger, and the bicycles provided could have been in better condition.
